Carl Sagan is one of the great thinkers of our time. Sure he may not have the educational background of Einstein or Hawking, but the theories and ideas he presents about space, and the possibility of others are fascinating, nonetheless.

I know many don't always approve of his theories of alternate life forms, and his theories were only scarred by movies such as 'Contact,' but it isn't fair to say that he doesn't deserve some credibility in his theories.
